- (1886-1944)Polish Hebrew poet and playwright. He was born in Korelichi and later lived and taught in Lodz. He was one of the pioneers of the modern Hebrew theatre. During World War II he was active in Warsaw and other cities. His works of this period describe the catas-trophe that befell European Jewry.
